Long answer: Late Night Work Club was started by Scott Benson, Eamonn O’neill, Eimhin McNamara and me during google plus hangouts. We liked the idea of comic anthologies and thought it would be cool to do one with animation. Then we contacted a bunch of other people that we either knew personally or through the internet. Thankfully most of them agreed to do it! So in a few months there will be a fresh batch of ghost themed shorts for everyone to enjoy. More info at latenightworkclub.com

Also, This is mostly Scott’s idea. He doesn’t like it when we say that publicly, but he does a ton of work behind the scenes and it wouldn’t be happening if he wasn’t involved. So if you see him walking the digital streets give him a shout out.

Hey thanks! I just want to say to you and anyone else reading this that you can absolutely do what I do, and more! All my animation knowledge, 2D and 3D is self taught. I’m not anti animation school. Just wouldn’t want anyone to get discouraged because they don’t go to an animation college.

The more you draw and animate the better you’ll get, so do it often! My main reason for having this tumblr is because it keeps me drawing and practicing animation with gifs.

As a side note, I’ve gotten some nice comments lately on here. But really yall should be following these artists who are soooo much more talented than me.

This is just to name a few! I’m leaving a bunch of people out and I feel bad about it. But if I don’t stop now this will become a mega list.

I'm really sorry to bother you and I'm sure you've been asked this a kadrillion and thirty seven times, but what program do you use for your 3D animation? I KNOW THAT YOU USE 2D FOR PHOTOSHOP AND I'M GOING TO FEEL UBER DUMB/ANNOYING IF YOU SOMEHOW USE THAT FOR 3D TOO

Actually I think you are the first person to ask about 3D. I mostly use 3DS Max. I’ve tried others like maya, blender, and a tiny bit of cinema 4D. Ultimately I found the interface of Max be the easiest to understand. However I haven’t even begun to understand 3D till very recently. When I do 3D stuff it’s mostly just to experiment and hopefully learn something new.

What media do you use for your drawn work? I like the look of it xxxx

For RL drawings I use cheap sketchbooks and a mix of pens, markers, and a brush pen. For digital drawings its always Photoshop CS whatever.
